Growing an early-stage idea into a start-up that can stand on its own isn’t easy. (We know…we’ve been there.) Every new company has to progress through different developmental phases until they secure adequate resources to launch, scale and grow.
Horn and Mane’s Project Unicorn initiative isn’t a traditional incubator who works with multiple start ups at the same time and focuses on selling new ideas. We only choose one business a year, in each of our operating markets, and then throw all that we’ve got at them. We help you set up the basics (road maps, forecasts, tools), provide administrative support across all key functional areas and ensure you have access to ongoing education and training. When you’re ready, we can make introductions to subject matter experts around the world, support fundraising initiatives and guide the development and execution of a clearly outlined go-to-market plan.

MEET LAST YEAR’S
PROJECT UNICORN RECIPIENT, NEW YORK BASED PATRICK EARLTM ART
Patrick-EarlTM is a global art brand owned by visual artist Patrick-Earl Barnes. Founded in 1995, the brand has expanded over the years to include the Artist’s original artworks, product licensing of images, and commissioned work.
Patrick-Earl’s work has appeared in several major motion pictures, television shows, and commercials, and has exhibited in galleries, museums, high-end boutique hotels, and retail stores worldwide.
His work is owned by an impressive list of collectors worldwide, including numerous celebrities. Patrick-Earl is a highly regarded and sought after Artist, who has received considerable press in notable publications, such as Raw Vision, Complex Magazine, Aspire Design and Home Magazine, Woman Magazine Austria, and Four Magazine. THE GOAL, THE ACTIONS
& THE RESULTS
The goal was to grow an already sizeable group of Patrick-Earl™ art fans, art enthusiasts and local buyers to include global collectors, influencers and potential brand partners.
Horn and Mane worked with Patrick-Earl to formalize a brand blueprint for a multi-faceted business model and then built out a customer journey map that identified and merged key points of influence across on-line and off-line channels. Key deliverables included a three-year business road map, a revamped ecommerce strategy, a newly designed and search optimized website and new marketing assets for use across owned digital channels.
